Kelly Sallaway is an Emmy-winning Executive Producer and documentary filmmaker with deep experience in funding and distributing unscripted content. She has successfully brought numerous documentaries to life through commissioning, co-production, and strategic partnerships, and is passionate about helping filmmakers navigate the complex landscape of financing and distribution.
Her recent 3-part docuseries Prisoner of the Prophet was commissioned as a Discovery+ Original and is now streaming on HBO Max. Her latest feature documentary, Prairie Prophecy, premiered in 2025 and is slated for national broadcast on Public Television in 2026.
Kelly also directed and produced the award-winning environmental short Beer Saves The World!, which premiered as an official event of the 2024 United Nations Climate Week in New York and continues to screen at festivals internationally.
Through her company, Motormind Production Group, she produced Riding Phat, a TV series that received three Emmy nominations and won the 2022 Emmy Award for Long Form Branded Content. The series is currently streaming on FAST platforms.
Kelly is currently in development on two new projects: a historical documentary set in Arizona and a second environmental feature. Her current documentary film series, There’s No Place Like OM, is in production with
Scottsdale-based Pronoia Productions.
Kelly is a TEDx Scottsdale Women Organizer and owns production companies Motormind Production Group and Rushbrook Media.
All through her life, Kelly’s connection to spirit has been through nature. Earth, wind, water,
sky have been where she has found her deepest authentic self.
