Executive television producer, Kelly Sallaway's show, Riding Phat, won an Emmy Award from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Rocky Mountain region in the category of Long Form Branded Content, Short Form Branded Content and Technology. The 6-episode reality show based in Phoenix, Arizona follows the day-to-day challenges of the Phat Scooters® team as they revolutionize personal travel with customized builds and unique designs. The entrepreneurial challenges of long hours, cash crunches, and Phat's insistence on quality and creative innovation are interwoven with high-profile events and interactions with celebrity clients and collaborations including appearances by Tedy Bruschi, three-time Super Bowl Champion and ESPN analyst, NBA Legend Dominique Wilkins, NASCAR Analyst and two-time winner of the Daytona 500 Michael Waltrip and artist J. Pierce as well as other professional athletes and actors. “I am honored and grateful to win an Emmy in this unique category,” said Sallaway. “Now brands can interact and support each other in creative ways through content creation and that content is being recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Science.” Riding Phat is executive produced and produced by Kelly Sallaway. Sallaway’s current project will be airing on Discovery+ this fall and her next project ‘There’s No Place Like Om’, in development at Pronoia Productions, explores the intersection of the spiritual world in science and business.
