MALIBU, Calif.—August 7, 2025 — Mariel Hemingway, health and wellness expert, mind, body, spirit teacher, advocate, author, speaker and actress, announced today that she will host and executive produce an unscripted documentary series, There’s No Place Like OM.
Created by Pronoia Productions and produced by Pat McGee Pictures, There’s No Place Like OM explores the unseen world of consciousness, mindfulness, awareness, energy, and the science of spirituality.
“I am honored and grateful to host and executive produce this documentary series, said Hemingway. “The series explores subjects that I am deeply committed to and passionate about including mind-body wellbeing, spirituality and mindfulness. These are areas I have been working on for years, and I have dedicated my life to promoting these ideals. I have improved my life through my practice of mindfulness and yoga. I hope to help others discover ways to improve their lives.”

The Global Wellness Economy reached a new peak of $6.3 trillion and is forecast to hit $9 trillion by 2028 according to the Global Wellness Institute.

Pronoia Productions specializes in content for those using personal growth and transformational techniques like yoga, mindfulness and meditation to improve their health and wellbeing, according to a press release. The company’s first documentary film series “There’s No Place Like OM” is currently in development in Arizona.
The Motion Picture Production Program (House Bill 2156) recently created new income tax credits for film production companies in Arizona. The producers are honored and grateful to be able to create their new project in their own backyard in Arizona, the release stated.
